Summer Vacation
A great anonymous quote exists that states, “The bigger the summer vacation the harder the fall.”  Emotions swirl and collide when one thinks about an approaching summer vacation.  We look forward with anticipation to what summer may bring: sunset beach excursions, adventurous road trips, backpacking through Europe, and new experiences at summer camp.  Sometimes, these vacations can exceed expectations and other times, expectations can be too high.   Memories of these summer vacations can be a mixture of moments both celebrated and embarrassing. Summer isn’t always perfect but it makes for a great mix of memories: a first broken arm, a romance in Paris, learning to surf, or a run-in with the State Highway Patrol.  The ultimate summer vacation might include all of the above.
